These Posters originally started out as an individual poster competition prompt on Identity. I chose to highlight the idea of Mexicans and the border wall as the discrepancy between America’s desire to separate its identity from Mexico. For this poster I was a finalist in the Skopje Poster Competition. Following this theme I made two more posters highlighting different issues of immigration around the world. One being the immigrant crisis in Greece, where hundreds are dying trying to cross the Mediterranean, the other being Zimbabwe and in particular Robert Mugabe’s policy of steeling back land from white farmers which resulted in a massive famine. My hope is to highlight how none of the policies to try and keep immigrants out truly solve the problem and only perpetuate a circle of hate.
