MARY SCHERTZ

Multi-faceted Digital Designer with a deep understanding of UX-focused design, including understanding what the target audience is interested in and how they interact with varying platforms (whether that be web, mobile, apps, etc). My experience living in Japan as well as doing freelance work as honed my ability to be highly adaptive to the situation at hand, allowing me to listen intently and flex both my communication and design approach based on the context (cultural, varying target audience needs, brand identity goals, departmental nuances, etc.). I unite creativity with strategy, allowing me to not just see the vision, but execute it - and I leverage my time management expertise that I've refined throughout years of balancing multiple projects and work experiences simultaneously.

BFA Graduate from Temple University’s Tyler School of Art's Graphic and Interactive Design Program. My skills include proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; including InDesign, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, and Figma.
