Exo-Files is a student project designing an interactive, multi-media learning experience. Exo-Files is an exploration app allowing users to interact and become spies to learn and explore the world of extremophiles. Extremophiles are microorganisms that can survive conditions that would kill most other life. The app covers 6 main types of extremophiles, and has secret sections that can be unlocked only if you buy the accompanying book and uncover the clues.

Designed and built this book has it all, translucent overlays, hidden text that needs blacklight to see, pullouts and puzzles. Book chapters coincide with the app allowing for parallel play, and the ability to access secret sections. The book is designed to come with a black light and playing cards to make a game out of the knowlege learned.
The website accompanies the book and app as a way to advertize for them it highlights what you can do with them as well as shows pictures and reviews. It's designed with creative and interactive features that mimic the book and app.
